Alright England, it's the beginning of July and you decide it's time to start hailing?
The impressive thunderstorms I can understand and the flickering electrical equipment is rather amusing (as long as I remember to save my work) but HAIL?
On the bright side am hopefully seeing 'Chelle's 3 day old nephew today and Kitty's are bouncing around my head :D

So my nan passed away last Monday. I've been muddling along as normal and have only cracked up once. I'm not intentionally trying to be strong and not cry as |'d rather let my grief out, but maybe the funeral this Monday coming will help me get some resolution.
I'm also exhausted, i've spent virtually every weekend for the past 2 months travelling back to london to be there for my nan and my parents. Last weekend was very odd not travelling to the hospital or hospice to visit nan.
I cant believe my nan is never going to phone me again and natter away, it still hasn't sunk in even though I saw how bad she was at the end.
Well I'm not going to dwell on the negative things, i'm just glad that she knew I was there for her.
For a completely different topic with my parents encouraging me I splashed out on a intel iMac last week. I still have my student card so I got £130 off, bargain.
Michelle and I are finally getting the internet at our place in Swindon which helped prompt the purchase - and i'd like to try and start using graphics programmes, i miss drawing on paper and using paint shop pro so hopefully i'll start both up again.
I hope you're all alright, I miss lots of you

So had my 23rd birthday yesterday and I enjoyed myself!
Went to work and there was a card and box of chocolates on my desk from my boss, I only told her on tuesday to justify me leaving an hour early, but that was a very sweet gesture. I told Hannah that I was going for a induction to the Gym at lunch, she then told me they were having champagne for me at 12 so couldnt go. My birthday coincided with another colleagues 30th, so they had cakes and buns for us which went down well :)
So work wasnt too bad, glad I didnt take the whole day off otherwise I would have been twiddling my thumbs at home.
'Chelle took me to the cinema to see Eragon, then we went to Chiquitos! My food was very yummy, cant remember what it was called but will have to have mexican again sometime soon. Went home and I had birthday cards! Thank you to all who sent them, they were all appreciated very much - helped to make my day :)
Ended the day by watching a odd film (Ultraviolet) and 'Chelle almost falling asleep on me, hehe.
So I had a fun day, Thank you all for the well wishes!
*Today I finally had my gym induction, It's completely free and open 24 hours a day 7 days a week - maybe i'll finally start toning up a little!

Well, friendslist
Tommorrow I'm leaving London and moving to Swindon with Michelle!
It's quite a momentous event, leaving my parents home possibly for good, getting a 'proper job', living with my girlfriend after 2+ years of being together.
I'm looking forward to it, the ups and the downs (though hopefully more ups lol), the change will be good!
I'll miss my cats though :( Leaving Shushy is the worst thing about moving away from here, she's 18 and starting to show her age. Well it's just another reason to visit my family more lol.
Bette get back on with my packing, if anybody wants a new address letter from 'Chelle and I then either drop me a message here or text me your address etc =)
There are also open invitations for people to come stay, we have a two bedroomed house so there's room, and it would be nice to have familiar faces around sometimes

I went for a interview at Watchfield on friday afternoon, received a call today and I got the job!
My mum doesn't have the slightest idea i've been thinking about this and moving, and I cant tell her because she's in Greece with my dad celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary - will have to face the music and tell them on monday.
It's good though :)

I'm off to Brighton tomorrow!
My brother moved there last month so i'm going to stay with him and let him take me out. It's quite funny I googled brighton night life and lots of gay club directories came up, should be fun if i can get to go to a few over the year.
It's my parents 25th wedding anniversary tomorrow ad i'm really not sure what to buy them hmm I have a dilemma.
Well my film just finished so ought to go to bed and try sleeping, I went out for a drink with the girls from work last night, that one drink turned into two, then I was bought a shot and it would have been rude not to accept it, then I was bought another pint of cider by a man (who was jamaican but had been living in germany for a few years so had a weirder accent than me lol), So all that combined with not eating turned me into a fairly tipsy Liz.
...I managed to get home safely though, with no stray men following me which was good. Needless to say I felt a little shaky today but it cleared up pretty quickly lol.
I need to go out more I dont want to become a reclusive hermit hehe

It's been a while since I updated. Good news is i'm being kept on working for Nestle and they are finally going to pay me the wages everyone else gets so that will be £300 extra a month.
Went to the cinema two weekends ago with 'Chelle and we saw The Black Dahlia, I've been asked to summarize how it went, 'Confusing, boring, boring, lesbians! Boring,boring lesbians? Boring, boring Finished. Lol.

So my brother's at the airport waiting to go to Japan.
He's spent the last two months helping to re-write a weird musical that Sting originally did with the WWF (world wildlife fund lol), and his band are flying to off to perform it with a japanese choir hehe.
I'm hoping he brings me back lots of cool tack, he's threatening Hello Kitty stuff. They received complete funding for the flights and accomodation and all he has to pay for is food which has been covered by generous family members :)
I hope he has a great time, gonna miss him for the two weeks he's away

Just a quick update to tell you all that shushy appeared in my room at 4:40 yesterday morning screeching terribly and dusty and skinny but alive :)
Took her to the vets and for her age she's healthy as she can be which is good. She's not feeling very well we think though and she keeps randomly screeching which she's never done before, could be the shock I suppose.
Yesterday was a great day, not only did Shushy come home to me Matt gave me a spare ticket to go see Gotan Project who were incredible! Need to book to see them again in november!
I really need to update properly, at the beginning of the month i had a lovely time at Rache's wedding anniversary with 'Chelle, your right Rache hun it was a shame we didnt get to spend longer together, but we'll arrange a meeting soon:) Then last weekend I went to chelle's sisters 21st birthday party, and i ended up spending about two hours keeping Michelle'e great grandfather company, he's a sweet old man :)
Alright time to go spoil Shushy we've been cooking her coley steaks lol - should be cool enough for her to eat now

Shushy's disappeared. Last time any of us saw her was last night, the front room window was open and she was leaning on the window sill trying to keep cool, earlier on I came home from work and she jumped on my lap for a cuddle.
This may not be a big deal to most of you but shushy's an indoor house cat she rarely goes out to the back garden even, only with a human for company. We've searched all the gardens and close roads, asked nearby neighbours, called the vets to see if strays have been handed in etc.
She's my baby, we grew up together, have been together almost solidly for 18 years and this isnt the end I want for us. I'm doing my best to stay optimistic but she's been away 24 hours now and i heard the stupid foxes screaming an hour ago, she may have been chased further away than she knows how to get back from.
I really had a distressing day at work because i couldnt concentrate on my piling up amount of work. The new job is quite pressured with deadlines, and it's galling because i'm being paid £200 less a month than the permanent staff's basic wages for the same amount of work (3 month temping contract), when i've been there a while I may query that.
Sorry if I dont make much sense - I just love my cat and i'm worrying about her

On Wednesday evening I met my cousin Ben in camden and we sat in the LLoyds bar for a while chatting about what he wanted to do with his life, then we wandered around FOPP and i caved into buying a dvd. Richard had told me about a open air showing of The Wicker Man at 9.15pm and I had persuaded Ben to come with me so we toddled off to the river side between tower and london bridge.
Now i've never seen this movie before only seen the video cover in shops, and I have to say it was amazing! It was really good watching it with the audience (there was probably over a thousand of us) because everyone seemed to enjoy the film, there was quite alot of hysterical laughter going on for the mostpart of the movie - Britt Eckland's naked gyrating hand thumping dance had one woman near me almost crying with laughter :) Richard arrived with his friends a bit later and we both agreed we need this film - Oh and Christopher Lee as Lord Summerisle was very good too!
Yesterday kay contacted me asking if I wanted a ticket to go to the o2 Wireless festival as she couldnt make it. I felt guilty as 'Chelle and I had wanted to go but couldnt afford the cost of the tickets and hotel, but otherwise the ticket would have gone to waste so I went.
I felt a bit uncomfortable walking to the gates of Hyde Park alone but once I was there it was fine, a few people chatted to me throughout the evening, I used my mobile to get access to the o2 Blueroom which had some good talent singing there but I cannot remember the artists names lol. Got a free CD out of that which isnt bad.
I saw the Violent Femmes on tne main stage, they werent my cup of tea but they werent bad, the saxaphonist from Pink Floyd plays with them now. KT Tunstall has definately made herself a new fan, she was hilarious and amusingly rude, and her voice is really beautiful, its not as high as I remember when i hear her on the radio, its quite sexy and husky. She made me happy by finishing with 'Suddenly I See' which is the only song I really know the words to lol. When she finished I rushed to the X-fm stage to see the end of Fun Lovin' Criminals, then went back to the Blueroom to hear a man called Ross Copperfield perform a cover of Crazy (that song which was in the charts for ages), that was really good. I then wandered over to hear David Gray perform a few songs, after he played Sail Away which is the song I like best I was quite happy to head home.
Walking through Hyde Park after 9 while the sun was setting was beautiful, where I was on the ground was covered by the shade of the trees, but if you looked up at the tree tops the sun was bursting through in pretty yellows and golds, I tried taking photos on my phone but they obviously didnt come out well.
So I have to say a huge thank you to Kay for letting me have the Ticket and Dan for giving it to her, I had a great time thank you!.
I also enjoyed lastweekend, I went to Michelle's great grandfathers 90th birthday celebrations, Saturday was a afternoon/evening affair and I was adopted by the sweetest little 4 year old girl who happily told me about the problems she has with moths and wasps, aww. I changed out of my slinky dress and high heels fairly quickly and became the more casual girl with a skirt and top. Sunday we went to a lunch at Michelle's grandparents Bowls club which was lovely, then 'Chelle and I watched a film and lazed about until I headed home.
